holy almost a year since my last post! hahahah...
i don't even know where to begin. other then, life is good.
i've been working a lot.
my kiddies are great <3
i work in a special ed pre-k class in the morning, and then the infant daycare in the evening.
other then work, not much is going on.
i joined a dart league. the fall season was my first season. for my first time playing, i'd say i did rather well. i got female MVP of my division. and our team made it to the semi-finals. this season we got bumped up a division... so highly more competitive. but we won last night. 11 - 10 baby!
i also have bowling league on sundays. i'm league girl this year. get over it.
wow, this is a very boring post. i'm sorry.
what else? hmmm.
yea, that's about it.

my kids are awesome.
i wish you could see the wheel of life projects they made.
i'm literally laughing out loud/smiling in donnelly right now and people are looking at me oddly.

as we all remember, riverfest and the campus crawl is what sent me to the hospital freshman year.
round two. 4 free drinks, cash bar after, bbq, fireworks. i'm there.
senior week.
tuesday. may 16. luau.
kettle fire overlooking the hudson river. strawberry daiquiri's. 3 drinks included. i'm there.
wednesday. may 17. booze cruise.
evening cruise on the hudson with drinks and food. i'm there.
saturday. may 20. graduation.

so it's 4:37am. i'm utterly exhausted.
but that doesn't matter, because i walked to campus earlier today because my car is still in the shop, and now i have no way home. and now it's too late to walk back because i'll get mugged or raped. and i don't have enough money for a taxi.

so i'm doing the waiting game. until people start to surface once again and i can get a ride to my apartment from someone.
but for now, i sit and wait in donnelly. doing nothing.

good, i thought OAR was the only concert and i got pissed because i mean, yea, they're good... but the spring concert is usually... different than that.
so yea, we've all done this before, but i'm procrastinating and i had to fill it out...

tomorrow, we'll be placing these items on a poster board to make a map of treegap. and dammit, i put a lot of time and effort into these drawings... so if one child accidentally rips one... detention for the rest of the year.

you know what sucks... not getting a spring break.
next week is spring break at marist, but i still have to do my student teaching. and when i get easter break from that, i still have marist classes. stupid.
i'm going insane. absolutely and utterly insane. i want school to be over. i want warm weather. i want the freedom to not want to get out of bed, or decide i'm going to go driving and just drive and not have to report to anyone or have any obligations holding me back. i want it to be summer.
i have two midterms this week. i've missed about 3 class sessions in both of my classes due to student teaching meetings and me moving and other random unavoidable crap. i'm not going to do well. but i've come to grips with it. it's not like a sucky grade is gonna hold me back from graduating, so i don't give a fuck.
it's my last week at marlboro. i'm excited to start somewhere else, but i don't want to leave the kids. they're such good kids. terry and i made aliens on friday in AIS. i'm teaching "invasion from mars", the radio script from 1938 that orson welles had howard koch write and it was performed and people actually thought the world was being invaded by aliens. so i brought in play-doh on friday and terry and i made aliens using the imagery from the script. friday was a "b" day, so it was 11th grade AIS, which means just terry. he's a good kid... he added his own little person touch to his alien... hahah... look:
an afro pick. hysterical.
last night was dr. mudd. i got way to drunk for my own good. i forgot to close out my tab. i realized that this morning when i couldn't find my debit card. i went over to mahoneys and emmett was there. i thanked him for hooking us up with john and getting us an apartment.
bleh, i don't feel good.
i want to be home.
i want to be curled up in my bed with my cat.
i miss my cat.
